New website under construction! Please bear with me as I update this site! Thanks --Jacob
We capture, cultivate, and consume life to benefit only a few people, creatures, species. Every drop of water that exists on Earth has been here passing though millions of lives along the way. Each leaf you see is just a leaf but the water and the very elements that makeup its cells have lived before in something else. Humans are selecting what species will survive by their monetary value. If it is to survive our dominating culture it had better be of use to us. And where will the ghosts go once the leaves are eaten by the plague that is us? The global urban environment is thriving taking more landmass everyday. It is jam packed, full of invasive species from around the world.
I offer you these cocoons to either sit or stand in and metamorphose from the caterpillar to the pollinating butterfly. In order for a real caterpillar to grow up and become a butterfly it completely liquefies in its cocoon and the cells reassemble themselves into a new. What would it take to better coexist?
