The photo above is from a series of quilts I made at KCAI were the costume wearer was the person in the poloroid photo. During a fashion show fundraiser a half dozen photo quilts slid out of a fabric poloroid camera onto the runway. (2008)

My fabric plants all started by making a huggable cactus like this one for my boyfriend's xmas present in 2005. I stitched it together in the hospital while on winter break bringing my mother to get chemo way out of town in Houma because we didnt have that in NOLA yet post Katrina. ~wild
